It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Mitchell Myers of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Mitchell and Ann Clem Mitchell; her sisters, Patty, Emma Mae and Joanne; and her granddaughter Brittany Myers.
She is survived by : her husband Patrick A. Myers; her children, Frances Scott (George), Terry Harshman (Doug) and Patrick A. Myers, Jr. (Amy); her siblings, Eloise Hamilton (Ed), Della Roush (Homer), Peggy Kuchenrither (Larry), Nancy Kidd (Herschel), Ronnie Mitchell and Harold Mitchell (Missy); and her grandchildren, Angel Knapp, Brooklyn Knapp, Alley Knapp, Amber Evans, Jeremiah Harshman, Lucas Tripplet, Melissa Harshman, Charlie Scott, Matthew Scott, Katlyne Harshman, Brandon Myers, Adelaide Harshman, Cameron Piscitello and Delayne Harshman. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
