She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Burch and Billy Joe Burch; and her husband Cecil Combs. She is survived by: her daughter Carla Carpenter of Fuquay Varina, NC; and her grandsons, Emmett Carpenter of Cary, NC and Elliott Carpenter of Raleigh, NC..
