It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Sion Annas of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee Annas and Rose Oxford Annas. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Church Annas; and his children, David Annas (Angela) of Chapel Hill, NC, Sharon Frye (Stuart) of Granite Falls and Diane Kaylor (Gerald) of Granite Falls. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
