She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Warren Canipe and Mildred Mims Canipe. She is survived by: her husband Larry Mackie; her children, Mike (Dreama) of Hickory, NC., Kim Ritchie of Hickory, NC. and Andy (Paula) of Hickory, NC.; her grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Madison, Lillie, Riley (Morgan Wethy), Carter (Rachel), Jack Mackie, Kinsey and Benjamin Ritchie; her great grandchildren, Ava, Tristan, Reaves and Luka Mackie; and her brothers, Phillip Canipe (Gail) of Santa Maria, CA. and Randy Canipe (Marie) of Vale, NC..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church-Hildebran (8831 Old N C Hwy 10, Hildebran, NC 28637). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Catawba County and Hospice of Caldwell County in honor of her lifelong commitment to caring for others. Keep Tabytha "Toby"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
