He was predeceased by: his father Ned James Annas; his sister Carmen Crump; and his stepfather Albert Brown. He is survived by: his mother Ethel Brown; his wife Denise Annas; his children, Kevin James Annas (April) and Kelly Annas Lookadoo (Phillip); his brother Jeff Annas (Elden); his grandchildren, Levi Annas, Lacey Penley, Jacob Lookadoo and Penelope Lookadoo; and his great grandchildren, Mack Penley and Duke Penley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
