He is survived by: his sons, Mark Cole of Lenoir, Bruce Cole (Lisa) of Vale and Alex Cole (Christy) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Kandice, Gibby (Ricci), Anthony, Tyler (Taylor), Alexia, Samuel and Tobey; his great grandchildren, Lilliana and Ameilia; and his brother Franklin Glenn Cole of Watauga County.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Granite Chapel (106 S Main St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC 28645).
