We announce the death of Wanda Lucille Hurley Pritchard (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 96. Wanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Pritchard Jr.; her parent Lena M. Hurley; her sister Velma; and her brother-in-law Edd Sigmon. She is survived by: her children, Robert Pritchard of Charlotte, Susie, Randy McCall of Granite Falls and Jackie; her grandchildren, Lauren, Drew Givens of Shelby, Corrie, Christopher Shelton of Lenoir, Daniel, Callie Moore of Morganton, Caroline and Josh Lakey of Granite Falls; and her great grandchildren, Abel, Lucy, Alden, Daisy Givens, Jack Moore, Maren Lakey and Luke Shelton. She is also survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (2485 Connelly Springs Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
The family requests any memorials be given to Amorem or to Bethel Colony of Mercy.
