He is survived by: his wife Sharon Owens; his children, Matthew McAllister (Emma) and Jennie Martinez (Emilio); his sisters, Virginia Anne Owens and Rebecca Holloway; his grandchildren, Victor Martinez and Dacson McAllister; and his pets, Eli and Millie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel (52 Bryant St, Grantsboro, NC 28529).
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
