It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jules Hugo Woodard of Grantsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Woodard and Sudie Margaret Woodard; his wife Lorraine Hardison Woodard; and his sister Linda Kay Woodard. He is survived by: his children, Jay Christian Woodard (Angela), Dawn Laurette McDaniel and Lori Sue Woodard; his sisters, Vickie Jones (Carl) and Suzette Nesbitt (Harry); his grandchildren, Olivia McDaniel, Jayla Woodard, Tyler Day, Ava Woodard, Dylan Casper and Blake Gaskill; his great grandchildren, Raylynn, Cru, Drake and Bentley; and his friends, Robbie Mercer, Tommy Daniels and C. H. Styron.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life FWB Church (2911 Old Cherry Point Rd, New Bern, NC 28560). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
