He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dean and Eldora Lewis Clawson; his son John; and his brother-in-law Steve Greene. He is survived by: his wife Betty Clawson; his sons, Josh, Meghann Clawson of Creston, NC and Jeffrey Clawson of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Maggie and Holten Clawson of Creston; and his sisters, Darlene Greene of Cherryville, NC, Janet (Larry Mishue) and Wanda (Wayne Domkowski). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Welcome Home Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
