He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Mary Chavis Thompson; his wife Peggy L. Thompson; and his sisters, Rener Bullard and Alice Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Isley (Brian); his grandson Cade Isley (Kim); his great grandchildren, Myles Isley and Bowen Isley; and his sister Deloria Lee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
