She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Becton and Lula Katherine Hicks Becton. She is survived by: her husband Garland Bruce; her children, Debbie Mann of Cleburne, Texas, Katherine Cook (Ashby) of Greensboro, Greg Brown (Sandy) of Raleigh, Dana Poindexter (Steve) of Greensboro and Brad Bruce (Cyndy) of Kernersville; and her siblings, Dotty Alspaugh and Wendell Becton, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
