She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Neville Grubbs, Sr. and Mary Williams Grubbs. She is survived by: her husband Frank Henning Blitchington, Jr.; her children, Mary Blanton (Lee), Beth Shefferly (Jim) and Tim Blitchington; her grandchildren, Scott Shefferly (Mary Virginia), Ann Shefferly Cothran (Gregg), Kevin Shefferly (Alex), Rachel Blanton Melas (Nico), Ben Blanton, Marjorie Blanton-Youssef (Harvey), Joshua Blanton and Seth Blitchington (Kerri); and her great grandchildren, Moses, Yannis, Francisco Melas Blanton, Aly, Zoe, Noah, Rae Shefferly, Molly, Caroline Cothran, Summer and Eloise Shefferly.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road, Richmond, VA 23235, for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
