She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Pearce; her parents, Harvey Richardson and Zilphia Richardson; her brother Berry Richardson; and her nephew Phillip Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Pearce (Katy) of Charleston, SC and Carolyn Salter (Bill) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (LeAnn), Brian (Jodie), David (Michelle), Camille (Chris), Ryan (Alyson), Natalie (Russell), Ashley and Stephen; and her nephew Mike Richardson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
