She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bolyn Garrett and Bessie Lee Fuquay Garrett; her husband Clyde Lester Bailey, Jr.; and her siblings, Betsy Garrett Myers, Robert Cage "Bob" Garrett and William Boyln "Bill" Garrett, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Celeste B. Collins (Carleton) of Asheville, NC and David K. Bailey (Lisa) of Stokesdale, NC; her grandchildren, Kathleen Anne Collins (Molly), Garrett Thomas Collins (Nia), Stephanie Michelle Bailey Meter (Gabriel) and Sarah Elizabeth Bailey Elliott (James); and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Ember Meter, Gideon Daniel Elliott, Grace Dorothy Elliott and Faith Anne Elliott. She is also survived by the children from her husband's first marriage.
