She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Hobson Ling and Audrey Jean Little Ling; her brothers, Larry Randolph Ling and James Roland Ling; and her former husband William "Bill" Crocker.

She is survived by: her sons, Travis Gordon (Rebekah) of Nashville, TN and Miles Gordon (Lauren) of Greensboro, NC; her siblings, Patsy Houston (Bill) of Grass Valley, CA, Liz Sater (Hyman) of Danville, VA, Melody Barker (Phil) of Greensboro, NC and Baron Ling (Karen) of Gainesville, GA; and her grandchildren, Davis, Graeme, Reese and Riley.
