It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin McMillan of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Robert McLean and James McMillan; his grandfathers, Wayne Locust and Eric McMillan; and his great-grandparents, Margaret McMillan and Myrtle McLean.

He is survived by: his parents, Stephanie McMillan and Damon Locust; his stepfather Duane Bolton; his siblings, Stephen McMillan, Cameron Bolton and Grace Bolton; his grandparents, Rita Locust, Cheryl Owens-Jenkins and Tyrone Jenkins; his great-aunt Betty Daye; his great-uncle William Owens (Bill); his uncles, Derrick McMillan and Marcus McMillan; and his close friends, Josh Perry and Markel Chamberlin.

Because of his blood type, they would often reach out to him for donations.
