It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Barber (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie Preddy Ryder Hape and Samuel Burgess Ryder; and her brothers, Sam Ryder and Richard Ryder. She is survived by: her husband Henry Woodrow Barber (Woody); her daughters, Linda Anthony and Diane Barber; her grandson Jamie Seagraves; her daughters, Connie Smith (Kim) and Gail Seagraves (Wayne); her grandchildren, April Anthony (Rick), John Henry Anthony, David Anthony (Lindsy), Catrina Seagraves, Brandy Delgado (Justin), Jacob Ozment (Sauksata), Price Woodrow Ozment (Ashlyn) and Wendi Black; and her great grandchildren, Gabe Anthony, Carter Anthony, Linda Anthony, Henry Anthony, Easton Ozment, Allie Ozment and Sophie Ozment.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shannon Hills Bible Chapel (900 W Vandalia Rd, Greensboro, NC 27406). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
