She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ellis Slaydon and Minnie Fender Slaydon; her husband John David; and her siblings, Laura Wilson, Mary Hamby, Arthur Slaydon and Robert Slaydon.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Purcell of Colfax and John David Waller, Jr. (Martina) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Justin Waller (Beth), Amber Waller Lovings (Kody) and Scott Purcell; her great grandchildren, Blaine Reed and Oliver Lovings; and her sister Linda Pegram of Kernersville.
