He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wright Arnette, Sr. and Ethel Irene Arnette; and his wife Elizabeth Arnette (Libby). He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Arnette; his son-in-law Brian Smith; his granddaughter Ava Arnette; his siblings, Charles Arnette (Toko), Judy Arnette and Shelia Wilson (Ken); his sister-in-law Billie Hicks (Woody); his pet Elvis; his siblings' children, Sarah Bullard (Jon), Morgan Smith (Matt), Chris Wilson (Danielle), Douglas Vaughn and Ginger Vaughn; his great-nieces, Amanda Rogers (Blake), Shannon Arnette, Sarah Arnette (Nick) and Kelly Spivey (Miles); and his goddaughter Laurie Currie (David).
