It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Morrow (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Morrow to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Betty farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Betty is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Aaron Morrow (Wendy) of Greensboro and Shana Morrow Trombley (Geoff) of Shelburne, Vermont.; her grandchildren, Abigail (Lukas), Peter, Micah, Emma Shae, Haley and Mallory; and her brother Rick Stanford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great—and great-great—nieces and nephews, and so many friends.
Those wishing to honor Betty's life are encouraged to make a donation in her memory to the Weatherspoon Art Museum or the Currie Library at First Presbyterian Church - and/or encouraged to take a walk and notice the beauty around you, enjoy a meal where you savor every flavor, or talk with someone you love and ask them real questions.
