Betty N. Permar Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2025, at the age of 83, Betty N. Permar of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Newell and Mary Newell; her husband Claude T. Permar; her siblings, Pat Newell, Eva Miles, William Newell and Larry Newell; and her niece Sharon Newell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Amy Turner (Eddie) and Wayne Newell (Jean); her sister-in-law Joann Newell (Pat Neelley); and her nieces and nephews, Melissa Laskowski, Vicky Davis, Terri Turner, Michael Newell, Nicholas Turner, John Miles, Jr. and Phillip Miles. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eller Memorial Baptist Church, 1124 Walnut St., Greensboro, NC 27405.
