She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Thomas and Lois May; her husband John B. Waters; and her siblings, Guy May, Jr., John May, Billy May and Sue Tillman.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Waters (Wanda), David Waters and Pamela Davis (Todd); her grandchildren, Craig Smith, Laura Smith, John Waters and Amy Waters; her siblings, Ruth Brady and Lewis May (Edna); her sister-in-law Jean Talley; her friends, Helen Compton, Marian Maness and Les Davis; Lindsay. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
