He was predeceased by: his parents, T. S. McCormick and Lillian Hayes McCormick; and his siblings, Elwood McCormick, Juanita Whitehead, Pete Robinson, Warren McCormick and Wilma Canoy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Gardens Cemetery (3601 Whitehurst Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
