He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee and Jeanette Louise Jones Reed; his brothers, Dewey Gene Reed and Raymond Lee Reed; and his son Thomas E Hodgin IV.
He is survived by: his significant other Edith Reed; his children, Bobby Mike Reed Jr. (Tina) of Stanleytown, VA, Cindy Welborn (Billy) of Greensboro, NC and Scott Hodgin (Faye) of Cedarville, OH; and his siblings, Ruth Reed Kennedy of Abingdon, VA, Charles R. Reed (Jill) of Axton, VA and Clarence A. Reed (Carol) of Goshen, IN. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
