With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Pickens (Greensboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Pickens and Elnora Pickens; his brother Victor Pickens; his daughter Keturah Pickens; and his sisters, Glenda Fortune, Gloria Thomas and Judith Alexander.

He is survived by: his wife Wannalyn Croom Pickens; his stepson Hercules Alphie Croom (Constance) of Las Vegas, NV; his sibling's children, Adrian Fortune (Beverly) of Beach Park, IL, Gregg Thomas of Markham, IL, Corey Alexander (Majja) of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Candace Fortune of Sacramento, CA and Ashley Wilson (Eric) of Bowie, MD; and his brother-in-law Ronald Alexander of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and close friends.
