Brenda Burns Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Burns of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hines and Jean Eulene Hines; her siblings, Steven Hines and Paula Frances Bowman; and her nephew Daniel Federonich.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky Burns; her sons, Michael Bolen of Greensboro and Jack Tysinger, Jr. (Crystal) of Ohio; her siblings, Wilma Cousanca (Eddie) of Greensboro, Terry Hines (Scarlette) of McLeansville, Tony Hines of Reidsville, Lois Ellis (Fesley) of McLeansville and Dale Hines of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Brittany Bolen, Michael Ryan Bolen, Christoppher Tysinger, Shawn Tysinger and Dillon Tomlinson; and her niece Katherine Youngpeter. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
