She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis T. Proctor and Edith Jolly Proctor. She is survived by: her husband John Ronald "Ron" Jarrett; her children, Susan Kane (Michael) of Birmingham, Alabama and Jason Jarrett (Kristin) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Jordan Tarble, Kate Jarrett and Will Jarrett; her brother Tom Proctor of Manteo; and her pet Mandy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue, in honor of Brenda's deep love for animals.
