Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Buck" Rumley; her son Stevie Rumley; her great grandchild Nathanael Rumley; and her son-in-law Mike Strader. She is survived by: her children, Richard Rumley, Jr., Judy (Chuck Ott), Cathy (Jerry Snow) and Suzy (Tim Dixon). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rankin Baptist Church (3317 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (3901 Forest Lawn Dr, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rankin Baptist Church, 3317 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
