He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Gladys Hudson Jones; and his former wife Jolene Hudson. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Hudson Russell (Bob) of Greensboro and Todd Hudson of Hickory; his grandsons, Bryce, Robert and Matthew Russell of Greensboro, NC; and his sister Jean Hudson Bingham (Gettys) of Advance, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his loving memory to Providence Baptist Church, 7614 Providence Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602.
