She was predeceased by: her close friend Albert; her parents, Charles Emerson Huff and Betty Curmode Huff; her husband Richard Stout Hankeison; and her sisters, Patty Lou Showalter and Sandy Lee Lewis.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Allen Hankeison and Gregory Charles Hankeison (Wendy); her sister-in-law Marilyn Hamwey; and her siblings, Tommy Margold and Gina Morgan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Guilford Memorial Park (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
