She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzil Melton and Leora Melton; the father of her children Eilef Olsen; her brother William Melton; and her half-brother Clarence Melton.

She is survived by: her children, Nicole Gustafson (Magnus) and Robin Stevens (Todd); her grandchildren, Ruari, Liam, Adrian, Xavier and Evryn; and her sisters, Karen Troutman, Joyce Spalding, Denise Harmon, Penny Fessel and Marilyn Wiggam. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salem UCC Cemetery in New Middletown, IN.
