It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Howard Davis Jr. of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Davis and Effie Davis Sr.; and his wife Ann. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph (Dana) and John (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Kathryn, Matthew, Laura, Sam and Rachel; and his sister Patricia Hinton (Davis). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
