She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Lee and Martha Jane Williams; and her husband Grady Edward Love, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Beven Harold Love and Lee Love (Pamela); her sister Candace Williams (David); her sisters-in-law, Annette Hunt (Joseph) and Bette Len Mitchell (Jack); and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Hunt, Chris Hunt, Adam Williams, Daniel Williams, Christy Mitchell Luquire, Jackie Mitchell Hardin, Rebecca Troy and Mary Jacke.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - Guilford Chapel (5926 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Garden Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (6309 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410). During the Covid pandemic, she found a unique way to bring joy during a difficult time by delivering sunflowers and peaches to family and friends from her favorite Farmers' Market vendors.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sheets Animal Clinic (for their animal rescue program) in Greensboro or Urban Ministry of Greensboro.
