He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McKinley Jones and Callie Modlin Jones; his wife Juanita Wilson Jones; and his siblings, Robert Jones, Richard Jones, Charlie Jones, Delbert Jones, Betty Jones Howard and Pat Jones Petty.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Kearse (Joe) and Nancy Sexton (Brad); his grandchildren, Allyson Fischer (Andrew), Kelly Hill (Kevin) and Justin Kearse; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Liv, Sydney, Emily and Presley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other extended family.
