He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Bond and Peggy Bond. He is survived by : his wife Margarete H. Bond; his son Bob Bond (Karen); his grandchildren, Brian (Sarah), Robert, Katie and Kevin; and his great grandchild Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be sent to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
