It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Snead (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Ruffin Snead, Sr. and Beulah Mae "Boots" Snead; his brothers, Jack Earnhardt Snead and Dennis Ruffin Snead, Jr.; and his nephew Avery Barton Snead.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Snead Faivre (John Paul Faivre) and Laura Jane Snead (Daniel Neil Rogers); his grandchildren, Caroline Joyce Marek and Thomas Jorden Faivre; and the mother of his children Gloria Lynn Goodman.
