We bid farewell to Chester Pegram Sr. of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Chester touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Pegram and Lena Pegram; his wife Elizabeth Grey Mckinney Pegram; his daughters, Carol Pegram and Sybil Pegram; and his siblings, Mona Brannon, Joan Vance, Gail Hoecherl and Ralph Pegram.
He is survived by: his children, Janet P. Johnson, Richard L. Pegram (Sylvia), Chester L. "Sam" Pegram, Jr. and Tonya P. Inman (Pete); his grandchildren, Billy Cook (Lindsay), Kathy Cook, Hailey Johnson, Jason Pegram (Felita), Ginny Cruthis (Corey), Dalton Pegram (Stephanie), Kaitlyn King, Jessica Gillie (Ezekiel) and Sydney Bowne (Hunter); Wayne Pegram (Diana) of China Grove. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenview Cemetery (1004 Montgomery St, Reidsville, NC 27320).
