With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarice Jacqueline Bobbitt (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Kyle Bobbitt; her mother Polly Hawks Snyder; her sister Mary Jane Haynes; and her grandson Joseph Kyle Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, William Jenkins of Greensboro, Nancy Sollosi, Gail Bobbitt Lysiak of Greensboro and Althea Joyner (Dan) of Stokesdale; her siblings, Robert Cecil Ayers (Bob) of Florida and Helen Dixon of Mount Airy; and her precious kitty Boo-Boo Bobbitt. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to AuthoraCare (Hospice) at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
