We announce the death of Clyde M. Jones (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Clyde will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Jones and Jessie M. Jones; his siblings, Iva Williams, Helen Hanks, Alice Ross, Winfred, Roy and Calvin; his nephews, Ricky, Eston Hanks and Ronnie Ross; and his son-in-law Lynn Hilliard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Vaughn Jones; his children, Clyde M. Jones, Jr. (Melanie) of Franklinville, NC, Barbara A. Hilliard of Greensboro and Debra L. Jones; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Burgess Testerman, Crystal L. Jones and Jessi B. Hall (Josh). He is also survived by Six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
