He is survived by: his stepson Danny; his brothers, Lindsay Simpson and W. B. Simpson (Rochelle); his sister-in-law Lou Land; his nieces, Jean Tripp, Anita, Linda Grimes, Janet Weitz, Lisa Simpson and Julie Atkinson; and his nephew Randy McDaniel.
