He was predeceased by : his son Alex Snyder; his parents, Minnie Snyder (Cunfer) and Clayton Snyder; and his sisters, Frances Deganich, June Bubick, Betty Sterling and Jeanette Hartman.

He is survived by : his wife Susan V. Snyder; his children, Karin Solomonson (Chad), Glenn Snyder (Jonni), Amanda Krueger (Kurt) and Hunter Bray; and his brothers, Rodney Snyder (Shirley), Winfield Snyder and Thomas Snyder.
