He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Daniel McNeal and Mildred Durane Walters McNeal; his former wife Linda McNeal; his stepson Kris Vansickle; his brother Donnie McNeal; Juniene McNeal.

He is survived by: his sons, Daniel McNeal, Jr. and Chris McNeal; his stepson Scott Vansickle; and his siblings, Larry McNeal (Debbie), Ronnie McNeal (Edith) and Sandra Watson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.
