He was predeceased by: his father Tyrome Sutton; and his grandfather Ottis Hewett (Lauretta). He is survived by: his mother Dewauna Hewett McLean; his brothers, DeQuincy Hewett (Nia Cheek Parker) and Solomon McLean (Antonie McLean); his siblings' children, Kinsley and Kai; and his extended family, Carlos Hewett (Harriet), Tonya James (Jonathan), Terrell Hewett (Kia), Sharon Sutton, Sandra Dillahunt (Plummer), Cleaster Moore (Eddie), Roger Ormond and Willie Ormond.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Goldie Hargett Memorial Chapel (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Hill Cemetery (2100 Zion Hill Rd SE, Bolivia, NC 28422).
