He is survived by: his wife Jane Yates Lawson; his children, David W. Lawson (Carolyn Lawson) and Sharen "Kay" Jackson (Mel Jackson); his grandchildren, Marcus Lawson and Miranda L. Owensby (Tim Owensby); and his great grandchildren, Loreli S. Owensby and Dresden L. Owensby.
