He was predeceased by: his wife Marylene Fields Griffin. He is survived by: his brothers, Jimmy Griffin and Sammy Moore; his children, Benita Griffin Mitchell, Melody Griffin London (Lee) and David H. Griffin Jr. (Donna); and his grandchildren, Johnny Mitchell Jr. (Megan), Amber London McGee (Chris), Heather Mitchell Wray (Dale), Deven Griffin Murrell (Tommy), Dakota Griffin Brunswick (William), Brooke London Pennell (Matthew), David H. Griffin III, Hunter Flippin and Matt Padgett II. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
