He was predeceased by: his parents, David Roosevelt Hunter and Elsie Dennis Hunter; his son Jon Hunter; and his siblings, Denise Fisher and Ronnie Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Hunter of McLeansville; his daughter Jennifer Campbell (Lexie); his sister Debbie McNamara (Bruce); his grandchildren, Dylan (McKenzie), Matthew, Levi of Hunter, DJ, Paige, Mikayla and Laci; and his great grandchild Rylie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church (3233 Yanceyville St, Greensboro, NC 27405). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
