He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Dickson; and his son Charles Dickson. He is survived by: his mother Sarah Frances Green Dickson; his children, Candy Tidwell (Joe) and Chad Dickson Sr.; his sisters, Sarah Hairston (Mike) and Janice Thompson (Bill); his grandchildren, Chad Dickson Jr. (Brianna) and Tiffanie Dickson; and his great grandchild Arabella Oberst.
