He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shelton and Effie Shelton; his brother Terrance Shelton of Pulaski, TN; and his stepson Billy Sutphin of Greensboro, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Shelton of Burlington, NC; his children, Kenneth Baron Shelton of Murfreesboro, Crystal Adams and Melinda Stevens of Sausalito; his cousin Larry Shelton of Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Chase Shelton, Macy Hills of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Victoria Stokes, Christina Stokes of Jefferson, Tyler Stevens, Kyndal Stevens of Sausalito, California, Steven Sutphin and Chasie Sutphin of Greensboro.
