He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Dunn Joyce; and his mother Sherry Noble Joyce. He is survived by: his children, Donald Morton Joyce, Jr. (Donna) of Greensboro and Marie Davara "Dee" Joyce of San Francisco; and his grandsons, Donald M. Joyce, Dillon Joyce (Lady Sanchez) and Benjamin Joyce.
